From a Single Village to a Nationwide Movement

In 2013, a group of friends pooled their savings to provide clean water to one village in Niger State. The response from that community — gratitude, resilience, and an urgent call for more help — lit a fire that has never gone out.

Today, EJIKEME AND NIMI COMMUNITY WELFARE ASSOCIATION operates across 24 states, running programmes in healthcare, education, women's empowerment, environmental conservation, and food security. We have touched over 84,000 lives and completed 48 major projects.

"The borehole they built changed everything for our village. Our children no longer walk 4 kilometres for water. That time is now spent in school."

What People Say About Us

★★★★★

Before ENCWA started visiting me, I was completely alone. Now their volunteers come every month with food and medicine. God bless this association and all who support it.

I joined the medical outreach and was moved by the number of elderly patients who had never had a blood pressure check in their lives. ENCWA is doing essential, life-saving work in Ukwa West.

My daughter would have dropped out of secondary school last year without the ENCWA scholarship. She is now in SS2 and wants to study medicine. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

ENCWA has done more for this community in the past five years than we could have imagined. The borehole alone has transformed daily life here. They are accountable, transparent, and genuinely care.
